Longest Day of the Year

Nothing says celebrate more than the longest day of the year! Take full advantage of every minute from sunup to sundown, because we won’t have this much daylight for another 365 days. We think the best way to celebrate is by grilling up a storm with family and friends. And with so many different types of food to grill you can have a grilled goodie for every meal of the day!

Start the day with some grilled fruit like peaches or pineapple! Try either of these recipes from High Heels and Grills and Wine and Glue.

Get through the midday hump with grilled avocado on top of your salad of choice. This Grilled Avocado Caprese Salad from Souflle Bombay is our top pick!

So celebrate the Longest Day of the Year filling your tummy with all the goods from your grill. You won’t forget how great your longest day was, and you’ll look forward to the next one for 364 days!
