Even if your chosen NFL team wasn’t lucky enough to make it to the Superbowl this year, we’re sure you’ll still be participating in the annual festivities.  Whether you’re hosting a party for your friends or watching the game with your family, this Grilled Bacon-Wrapped Corn appetizer is an essential addition to your menu.  With only two main ingredients, this may be the easiest appetizer you’ve ever made.  Just fire up your Fuego an hour before game time to allow enough time for your dish to cook.  Keep in mind, this recipe serves 10, so plan accordingly if you plan to have more guests in attendance!

Ingredients

  • 10 ears of corn (husked and cleaned)

  • 1 pound (1 package) of bacon
  • Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your Fuego to high heat.
  2. Sprinkle cajun seasoning to each piece of corn. Add more as desired for extra spice.
  3. Wrap each with two slices of bacon, covering them as much as possible. Use a third piece if necessary.
  4. Wrap corn in aluminum foil and twist the ends to seal the corn inside.
  5. Place the corn on the preheated grill and grill corn for 10 minutes per side.
  6. Turn the heat to low and grill for 45 minutes (until corn is tender and bacon is cooked).
  7. Add shredded cheese as desired immediately after removing from heat to allow cheese to melt.
