Fuego F27S 304SS Gas Grill

Well, I had really wanted to like this grill, and it grills just fine - no complaints about the cooking experience. BUT - the pan that's supposed to catch drippings is horrible. Mine leaks in multiple places where the oil drips down around the sides of the drip pan and falls into the chamber below - which has multiple holes and then dirties up my patio. I don't know if its faulty design or faulty construction but I'm probably going to sell it given teh headache this entails.

Delivery was delayed due to a mix-up at the shipping depot. This was resolved very promptly and professionally by Forward Shipping. Packaging: Secured on two wooden pallets, quite a bit of styrofoam that is not recyclable, no damage to the unit in the box. More than an hour to remove all of the protective film including having to remove some of the knobs to clear it all. The film leaves a small residue along its edges some of which can be removed after the first warm-up. Wouldn’t start first try. Found the igniter wires hanging loose behind the front panel. Luckily you can loosen the igniter unit and get your hand behind the panel to get the wires connected. First use: Heats up very quickly as advertised, Very well built with heavy duty stainless steel, grates are very heavy. Will take a little bit of a learning curve to adjust to cooking times and temps compared to our Fuego Element. We did purchase the griddle and charcoal box but haven’t used them yet. The Element cover rusted early but worked very well to do up a couple of frozen burgers. Verdict: Well built, looking forward to many meals with it. Could use larger casters for paved patios.

I’ve owned many grills over the years but the Fuego 27S has turned out to be the best. Its a great size, heats up very quickly and burns evenly. The grill is well constructed and the customer service is exceptional.

I agonized and actually purchased (and cancelled) two high-end grills prior to settling on this beauty. After visiting a local BBQ store and seeing and touching several brands, including Artisan, Turbo, Coyote, and several others, I couldn't bring myself to spend $4k on a grill that I felt I could get cheaper with comparable quality. After many hours of research, I decided to go with the Fuego 27S. The reviews on this site certainly helped and I appreciated buying direct from Fuego vs. Amazon or another outlet. My grill arrived fully assembled on a pallet and within minutes I had a working product plugged in to my household gas outlet. I've had it for a few weeks now and have been using every other day at a minimum. I also purchased the griddle attachment and used it twice over Memorial Day weekend for breakfast tacos with sausage and bacon. This grill is the real deal; easy to clean, cooks evenly and well, high quality stainless steel, and it looks great! VERY pleased with this purchase given the quality and value versus other high end options.

I was looking for a smaller profile grill due to a docking station that I had to store it when not in use. Most of the decent grills on the market have bulky side tables with burners that I didn't need or desire and I end up unscrewing and throwing away. The collapsable side tables are genius and the Fuego is the only one that I have seen on the market with this. Concept would be great for small apartment balconies that are space challenged. I had a NG Stainless Designer Brand Grill for 15 years with brass burners that was inconsistent with heat at best. Sometimes I had to fire it up for 30 minutes to get it hot. I fired up the Fuego and within minutes I had 500-600 degrees of heat. For the first time in years, I actually turned down the heat on the grill. Totally happy about not wasting gas while I wait for the thing to heat. Their customer service is outstanding. I bought the standalone griddle which fits over one burner. They replaced the first one due to some warping of the metal that made it rock. While the $2K was more than I originally intended to spend overall, the grill and frame is made completely out of stainless, with welds and no flimsy extra parts that will end up corroding like other "stainless" grills at the big box stores. I have to say that I think that the money was well worth it and I look forward to grilling my different fish catches on the grill. Buying direct might save you a little money and the free shipping was great. The grill came completely assembled and the NG set up was ready to go unlike a previous reviewer's suggestion. The company listens to the feedback.
