The new lid the new

the way the handle is attached ( wing nuts ) made it imposible to remove w/o snapping the bolts off . fortunatly i was able to drill and tap so i was able to use it . a minor redesign brass ferrals .......... would make it easier ! thanks

It fits and looks good. I just hope it won't rust out as fast as the original one. Since it is undoubtedly made in China, they need to paint them asap, not store them outside, let them rust, then paint them. The damage was already done as soon as they were stored outside.

What can I say? It’s a lid. Easy to disassemble the old and attach the new. Hoping with the special coating referenced in the description of this new one that it won’t peel and fall onto my food while grilling like the old one did!
