Ingredients

  • 6 cups of day-old bread cubes (such as challah or brioche)
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups milk (whole or 2%)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice mix (or a blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves)
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • A pinch of salt
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing

For the Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Prepare the Grill:
